TIMEWARP IT Consulting GmbH is actively committed to climate protection

TIMEWARP has set itself the goal of reducing the company's carbon footprint as much as possible. The corporate carbon footprint was therefore calculated for the first time for the 2023 financial year in accordance with ÖN EN ISO 14064-1. Verification of this carbon footprint is planned for the beginning of 2024. Greenhouse gas emissions generated during the reporting period were offset via a Gold Standard carbon offset project.

Accounting Period

01 July 2022 to 31 June 2023 

Organizational Boundaries

The office location Diefenbachgasse 5/7 in 1150 Vienna relevant to the reporting period and the premises rented in the data centers listed below were taken into account:

  • Interxion Vienna, Louis-Häfliger-Gasse 10, 1210 Vienna
  • NTT Vienna, Computerstraße 4, 1100 Vienna
  • Interxion Düsseldorf, In d. Steele 39a, 40599 Düsseldorf, Germany

System Boundaries

An accounting with the cradle-to-gate accounting boundary was selected. 

Downstream emissions are not taken into account.

The following greenhouse gas emissions are accounted for:

Scope 1 - all direct emissions from sources within the organization's boundaries.

Scope 2 - indirect emissions from externally generated and purchased/imported electricity and other purchased energy  

Scope 3 - upstream indirect emissions, excluding category 4, upstream transportation (not relevant)

Kompensation

The greenhouse gas emissions amounting to 175 tCO2e caused by the company during the reporting period within the above system boundaries were offset by the purchase and retirement of 175 Gold Standard Carbon Credits from the Ibanda - Makera Forest Cook Stove Project, Rwanda GS5047 VPA64 .
